You decide how long you want to go to therapy, when to take a break and when to start again.

If you need a break from therapy

You can take a break at any time, even after the first session, and come back to therapy whenever you feel ready.

When you're ready to come back to therapy, you can go back to the therapist you were seeing before if they're available. You can also find a new therapist through our online search tool.
